MY TOP SIX FAVOURITE MOM SHIRT SHOPS

There are a heck of a lot of options out there when it comes to buying motherhood shirts. So many that some shops are just full of copycat designs! I’m all about supporting the original creator of a product so here are my top six favourite mom shirt shops and why I love them.

(I’m going to list them in alphabetical order to avoid any favouritism feels)

ARTICLE CONTAINS GIFTED PRODUCT FROM PAST CONTENT BUT ALL OPINIONS ARE 100% ALL MINE!

ASHCO

Simple and sleek: the biggest reason I love AshCo’s Mama shirts. Well and the fact they’re made by a fellow Canadian Mama!

With soft basic colours and a simple design you can easily wear them with leggings, jeans or dress them up a little. Can we talk about how comfy the half zip looks too? Definitely on my wish list!

I’ve watched Ashley’s shop bloom over the last couple of years and love that she keeps a busy Mama’s comfort in mind when she’s designing her shirts. Sadly I’m seeing other shops completely copy her Mama shirts so I hope you choose to support the original!

BEE AND MAE

I love Bee and Mae so much that I actually own multiple shirts and pins from her. They were one of the first shops I ever followed on Instagram and although there have been some content posted I might not agree with, I still love her enough to keep supporting. Everything is designed by the shop owner and I’ve always loved the fonts, the shirt colours and the occasional Harry Potter or The Office creation. Bonus – she makes AWESOME pins!

(Shirt gifted by Drawings By Nicole)

DRAWINGS BY NICOLE

I’m pretty obsessed with Nicole’s products. Not only does she make mom shirts, she’s also released two awesome and very realistic kids books!

Being a weird mom is a very real part of who I am and how I feel and seeing a shop make shirts that express that will always have a place in my heart.

Also – she has a section on her website where you can buy clothes that she’s upcycled with her prints!

(Shirt gifted by Lisa K Simmons)

LISA K SIMMONS

All hail the Mom bod shirt! That’s what I dramatically say to myself every time I pull it out of the closet.

Lisa has curated a shop of shirts, scrunchies and awesome hair clips amongst other things. There’s even a shop tab where you can shop from other local makers!

She’s created a few different Mom Bod shirts but the one I own is my favourite of the bunch. The details of the different bodies inside the letters are too cool!

(Sweater gifted by MJ Three & Co)

MJ THREE & CO

My favourite fellow hot mess mom.

The irony is that I don’t actually own any of her motherhood related shirts – but I do wear the shit out of my Fall & Christmas hoodies she makes! They’re so comfy that you’ll frequently find my husband wearing them too.

Top reasons I love her: not afraid to drop f-bombs, open about her mental health and is a fellow cannabis user. And has shirts related to all of those subjects.

(Shirt gifted by Zink Made)

ZINK MADE

Tired. The ultimate description of motherhood – and my favourite shirt in Katie’s collection! Zink Made is a shop created by another fellow Canadian Mama and her shirts always make me stop and think “YUP, want!” when I see them.

Katie’s collections have clothing options for both mom’s and non-parents alike. She also carries baby/toddler sizes so you can match your kiddos.

There’s also a great style variety in the adult sizes. Don’t want just another t-shirt? Choose from a sweater, a cropped tank or a cropped hoodie too!

There you have it! My top six favourite motherhood shirt shops. I may come out with another one of these lists because I definitely feel like I’m missing enough shops I love to make an entire second list.
