MATERIALS

STEP ONE

Go on a leaf hunt! Pick out a collection of leaves you love.

I would suggest doing this with pressed leaves. It’s possible to do it with unpressed, but it tends to leave a bit of an air pocket!

STEP TWO

Grab a laminator pouch and start placing your leaves. If you plan on putting it into a frame of some sort grab the frame and double check it fits.

Don’t forget – you’ll need to leave a laminated edge around it!

STEP THREE

Laminate your creations.

Tip: be delicate when closing the laminator pouch, especially if you’re using unpressed leaves. It’s really easy for the tips of the leaves to fold or move!

STEP FOUR

If you’re using a frame or aiming for a certain shape, trace it onto the pouch with a thin tip sharpie.

If there’s still some sharpie showing after you cut, the sharpie wipes off. I got it off with just a baby wipe!

TA DA!

You have your own laminated leaf decor!

We hung ours framed on the wall (I made two for our matching round frames) but they can be hung unframed and make great window decor too!
